What are you known for professionally? What do you have a knack for? 

Marketing and Design. 

What’s the one problem you are best at solving for your clients? What do your ideal clients say about you?
I am able to look at sets of complex information and narrow down the information to its most basic ideas in order to help my clients have their message received and understood by their target customers.

What are you most passionate about professionally? What most excites you about your work & the contribution you can make?

I love design and new opportunities to be creative to help small businesses grow. 

What are you passionate about personally? What do you really enjoy? What can’t you stop talking about?
Adventures. Traveling. My family. Anything I saw on the Today Show. Healthy Living.

Where can we find you when you’re not working? What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday afternoon?

Like most members of the Slaughter family, you will probably find me surfing the web. I really do love the internet. 

What entrepreneurs do you admire and why?
 Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg had a big impact on my life. She was brave to write the book and bring the topic of women in the workplace to the forefront of public conversation. 

Any volunteer activities you’re crazy about?
Anything education related. I served on a nonprofit board in Pennsylvania that helped to raise money for things the school district could no longer pay for and am always looking for opportunities to contribute of helping students become successful and productive adults. 

Any nonprofits you love, & why?
I’m obsessed with kiva.org. I love being able to lend money to people all over world to help them take care of their families. This is something that would not be possible without the internet and I think that is amazing. I’m also aTeach For America alum, so that organization has a special place in my heart. 

What would be impossible for you to give up?
I’m a big fan of breakfast carbohydrates. I’d be pretty devastated if I never saw a bagel again. 

Android or iPhone? 
iPhone. I’m a creature of habit and I appreciated the consistency of Apple products. 

Favorites:
TV Show - Scandal. I get extremely invested in the tv shows that I watch and Shonda Rimes has yet to disappoint me with this one.
Movie - Forrest Gump. No explanation needed, it’s just the best movie.
Book - The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls. I love this book because it shows the complexity of our human nature in one really interesting life story.
Social Media Platform - Pinterest. I could seriously look at pictures of beautiful designs and delicious food all day, and sometime I do.
Smartphone App - Instagram. Taking photos with my smartphone is one of my favorite activites and I like the way Instagram makes it easy for the average person to edit their photos and make them look more interesting.
